Discover Financial Services, Inc.

Managing Director Acquirer and Strategic Merchant Relations - I managed and maintained the relationships for the top merchant acquiring companies in five major industry categories. As Director of National Accounts, I managed the top 500 accounts and the sales managers who serviced them. As Group Industry Manager, I was in charge of building relationships between Discover Card and the major airlines, hotels, car rental and travel agencies that accepted the card. As Director, Merchant Marketing, I designed key awareness and direct marketing programs to support merchant sales. 

Ketchum Communications

Account Supervisor - I worked in account management on several key financial services accounts, including Citicorp Travelers Checks, World Checks and Diners Club Card. I won an Eagle Award from the Chicago Financial Advertising Club for Best Print Campaign for a Financial Services Company.

Continental Illinois National Bank

Communications Manager - I introduced and managed the high-net worth market products in the Chicago area, including the Gold MasterCard, the MoneyNetwork (ATMs), the Executive Financial Center and international products. 

Chicago Sun-Times

Media Sales Representative - I sold media advertising space for the Chicago Sun-Times and Daily News.
